Resin bonded diamond has excellent properties

1. First of all, it has a sharp cutting angle that maintains continuous and lasting self-sharpening. Under a certain grinding force, polycrystalline particles tend to break along the interface between sub-crystals. After the small worn sub-crystals are detached from the crystal particles, new irregular-shaped sub-crystals form sharp edges on the crystal surface. Angle, rather than the entire particle falling off; this process will continue to occur until the particles completely fall off from the binder, so it shows extremely high grinding efficiency and abrasive utilization.

2. Secondly, excellent surface finish. Due to the uniform brittleness, the machined surface will not produce scratches and burn marks.

Resin-bonded diamond provides high grinding performance and low grinding resistance and is widely used in all dry and wet grinding fields to process hard materials. In most cases, the resin binder system is phenolic resin or polyimide resin. In special cases, specialized lactone binders are also used.
